Gavin IsaacsGavin Isaacs, previous Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games, has just announced his appointment with SBTech. Isaacs will serve as Non-Executive Chairman to the gaming and sports betting technology supplier.

Isaacs will be expected to grow the presence of SBTech in the United States market. The firm has several partnerships with casinos in Mississippi and New Jersey in place already. Their new Non-Executive Chairman will need to secure even more.

Isaacs Pleased with New Role

The former captain of Scientific Games said that since leaving that company, he has been approached by several others with job offers. Ultimately, he explained, he chose to join SBTech because it boasted high standards in all disciplines, an entrepreneurial approach, and superior technology.

In addition to all of this, Isaacs added, SBTech had enough ambition and potential to grow considerably more across various regulated markets. This included in the United States, where Isaacs is based. With his extensive experience, knowledge and network on that side of the Atlantic, he should be able to help this impressive company flourish even more.

Very Qualified for the Job

Isaacs really does have an enviable amount of experience and contacts in America’s online betting and gaming world. As a qualified lawyer, he is always able to consider things from a legal point of view. In addition, he has spent the last 4 years as Scientific Games’ Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its board. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer at SHFL Entertainment. Previously known as Shuffle Master, the company manufactured table games, shuffling machines, slots and other physical casino equipment.

Scientific Games offered online sports betting, games and lottery solutions, as well as the land-based SHFL options. With all of this under his belt, SBTech couldn’t have found a better man to welcome onto their staff.

SBTech Has Welcomed Isaacs

For their part, the omni-channel gaming and sports betting leader has also expressed their enthusiasm for working with Isaacs. Chief Executive Officer Richard Carter said that is company was thrilled to have someone of his credibility and caliber joining the team.

Carter added that Isaacs has 2 decades of experience not online in leading some of the gaming sector’s biggest businesses, but of acquiring and even transforming them too. This would be a huge advantage for SBTech, Carter commented.

In the United States this strength should prove especially useful. Since so many partnerships have already been finalized, the country is ready for a massive rollout across multiple states. There are many more opportunities to grow. Carter called the appointment “a huge coup” which seems to sum it up perfectly.
